Why should Gum Health and Restorative/Prosthetic/Aesthetic Restorations be considered and planned together with a professional approach?
-
Foundation for Success: Healthy gums provide a stable foundation for any dental restoration. Without a solid periodontal base, even the most advanced restorative work can fail prematurely.
-
Prevents Infection: Treating gum disease and ensuring periodontal health prevents infections that could compromise the success of restorative treatments. Healthy gums help to avoid complications that could lead to further dental issues.
-
Longevity of Restorations: Proper gum care ensures that restorative and prosthetic solutions last longer. Healthy gums protect the underlying bone and tooth structures, enhancing the durability of dental restorations.
-
Aesthetic Appeal: Healthy gums contribute to the overall aesthetic outcome of dental restorations. They frame the teeth beautifully, providing a natural and pleasing appearance to your smile.
-
Overall Oral Health: Addressing gum health before restorations ensures comprehensive oral care. It promotes better oral hygiene and reduces the risk of future dental problems.
